What will the future of Butler County look like?
That is the question that will be posed at an upcoming symposium of residents, local leaders, and non-profit organizations gathering to envision both an environmentally and economically sustainable future for our county.
Expert speakers will present on topics including job creation, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, eco-tourism and outdoor recreation, and manufacturing. Following the speakers, attendees will be invited to develop their own visions in small groups and then share their results with the room. Sustainable businesses, as well as conservation and recreation groups, will also be on hand to talk about their work and products.
